SUNBEAM CAR OWNERS REGISTER OF S.A.

Sunbeam cars have a pedigree dating back to 1901-specialising in racing cars, sports cars and quality performance saloons. Achievements range from land speed records in the 1920’s to the Alpine and Monte Carlo rallies in the 1950’s & 60’s with drivers such as Stirling Moss and Sheila van Damm.

The Sunbeam Car Owners Club was formed in 1972 to promote the interest and enjoyment in Sunbeam cars. It offers a friendly club environment with social activities, technical advice and assistance, spare parts and other resources. On the 23rd of October 2025 the club became a 'Register' within a new club that caters to all brands in the Rootes Group, thus becoming the Sunbeam Car Owners Register of SA, a member of the Rootes Group Auto Club of SA Inc.
